Healthy Smoothie Recipes
Anyone who knows me knows that I absolutely LOVE smoothies! It’s one of the easiest ways to get a ton of nutrients all at once, plus they’re quick to make and super yummy. I’ve been known to put some weird things in my smoothies, but I promise they are delicious! If you’re looking for something new, give one of these recipes a try.
Creamy Banana Cauliflower Blend
Recipe:
1 frozen banana
1 date
1/4 cup of frozen riced cauliflower
1 tbsp of greek yogurt (can sub coconut yogurt to make it vegan)
1 tsp of pea protein powder (or protein powder of your choice)
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
1/2 cup of coconut milk
Blend and enjoy! I tend to like my smoothies a bit thicker but you can always add more coconut milk if you want it to be smoother!
Classic Green Smoothie
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup of spinach or kale (fresh or frozen)
2 tsps superfood powder
1 tsp matcha
1 tsp greek yogurt
1 tsp pea protein
1/2 cup coconut milk
Pro Tip: Blend the matcha and the coconut milk first. This helps the matcha fully dissolve before you add all the other ingredients. After that just toss everything else in the blender and you’re good to go!
Blueberry Banana Blast
Recipe:
1/4 cup frozen blueberries
1 frozen banana
handful of spinach or kale (frozen or fresh is fine)
1 tbsp greek yogurt
1/2 tsp of cinnamon (or more! cinnamon and blueberries are a delicious combo)
1 tsp of pea protein powder
1/2 cup of coconut milk
Try adding cherries, or another type of berry if you want to mix it up a bit without sacrificing any nutrients!
