Our Instructors

Denika is the founder of SU, a certified yoga instructor, and life coach. She teaches a variety of yoga styles but specializes in yoga sculpt flows that incorporate strength and pilates movements into a traditional yoga flow!

Alicia is the faith director at SU and has a masters degree in counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. She creates our faith content (bible studies, daily devotionals, etc.) and loves teaching about how our faith can help our mental and emotional health!

Tonya is a 500-hour RYT who teaches a variety of yoga styles. Her favorite practices include breath prayer flows, hands-free yoga, and creative vinyasa. When not on her yoga mat teaching or practicing, you’ll find her hiking and exploring the great outdoors, curling up with a book, or volunteering at the animal shelter. Emily is a barre instructor with 6 years of teaching experience. She focuses on intentional movement in her classes and building strength through small movements. Low impact fitness has been instrumental in Emily’s personal health journey and she’s passionate about sharing her love of barre with others!

Rachel’s teaching style focuses on giving clear cues so that you can practice with proper form and make the most of your time on the mat- whether it’s a mellow practice or a strength building flow!

Monica is a skilled yoga instructor with 6 years of teaching experience and specializes in Power Vinyasa and Yin yoga. She is passionate about making all bodies feel welcomed by offering plenty of posture options and encouraging you to find what feels best. You will leave her class feeling strong, refreshed, and relaxed!

Alex is a yoga instructor and doula. She specializes in a gentle, vinyasa flow where you’ll practice mindfulness, intuitive movement, and slowing down. Her prenatal classes are similar, but incorporate specific movements to help prep mothers for healthy pregnancies and births!

Hi friend!
My name is Denika and long story short - practicing yoga from a faith based perspective changed my life! It taught me how to slow down, connect with my body, and actually experience the deep peace and joy that the Lord created us for! Over time, my love of connecting with God through movement has grown into an incredible platform and community of women who are committed to becoming the healthiest version of themselves.
At Stand Unshaken we teach about a timeless combination of elements that all contribute to a peaceful and productive life AND it’s packaged in one easy to use space so that becoming the healthiest version of yourself is as easy as can be!

The type of yoga and meditation that you’ll experience inside the SU Collective are uniquely designed to help you deeply experience God’s presence! All of our yoga practices incorporate prayer and biblical teaching while guiding you to move your body in a way that promotes peace, strength and flexibility. Our meditations use scripture to help you focus on God’s word and discover how you can obey Him in your daily life (Psalm 119:15).
With our approach you will feel physically, spiritually and emotionally safe knowing that you are being taught by certified Christian instructors who put God at the center of every practice!

We offer a variety of workouts, but mostly choose to focus on low-impact workout styles such as yoga, barre and pilates as we believe that these styles are the best way to create a strong body that will stay healthy for years to come.

Every month we add new movement videos, meditations, biblical teachings, and live group sessions! We consistently add new content so your learning never has to stop!

Absolutely! We offer fitness programs in a variety of styles and have options for any level from beginner to advanced, so everyone has a place to start, and room to improve!
